About This Part

Salamander, sold in Japan as Saramanda, is a Shogun Face Bolt Takara Tomy released for the Synchrome System, debuting on the BBG-02 Booster Shinobi Saramanda SW145SD on March 31, 2012, and reaching Western shelves on the SS-02 Starter Pack Ninja Salamander SW145SD. Its artwork is a cartoonish take on the fire-linked lizard of legend, grinning with a body rendered as flame. The BBG-02 Booster pairs it with a metal Stone Face rather than the usual plastic one, and Hasbro's bolt is cross-shaped where Takara Tomy's Stone Face is a round diamond.
