Description

The blade of Barthez Battalion's captain, a talented blader trapped under a coach who orders him to cheat. Dark Gargoyle wins the Rome decider against Ray with an explosion Kenny refuses to believe was luck, and in the match with Tyson Miguel is told to use every trick in Barthez's playbook. Tyson reaches the honest blader underneath, and Miguel later helps Kenny and Emily build Dragoon MS. Its HMS toy counterpart is Death Gargoyle MS.

Miguel of the Barthez Battalion battles with Dark Gargoyle, also called Death Gargoyle, an Attack Type top Takara put out in Random Booster 10 in April 2003. It runs the Genocide Circle attack ring over a Ten Wide weight disk, a metal-weight Neo Right Spin Gear and an SG Flat Base, and the line continued into Dark Gargoyle MS.

Parts in detail

One of three 'prize' Beyblades from Random Booster 10, alongside Rushing Boar and Killer Eagle; the trio was issued in Red, Blue, and Green, with Red designated as this Beyblade's prize color.

SlotPartWeightSpinNote
Attack Ring Genocide Circle 5.9 g Both (Right Spin has minor Upper Attack slopes) Aggressive gaps and contact points on the wing-tips and beak shapes generate strong recoil and occasional Smash Attack, but the wing sections themselves barely make contact, so hits swing between solid power with heavy recoil, or nothing at all. Shallow Right-Spin Upper Attack slopes are further blocked by pole-like extensions at the front of each wing.
Weight Disk Random Weight Disk (one of: Star Attack, Revolver Attack, Ten Heavy, Ten Balance, Ten Wide) — Shipped with a randomized Weight Disk drawn from five possibilities spanning Attack-oriented options (Star Attack, Revolver Attack) and Balance/Defense-oriented options (Ten Heavy, Ten Balance, Ten Wide), so out-of-box performance varies by which one a given unit includes.
Spin Gear Neo Right Spin Gear Shells 1.15 ea (2.3 total) g Right Neo-pattern shells are favored over regular Right shells because they fit every Spin-Gear-compatible Blade Base and unlock Neo-only cores, including the Heavy Metal Core — a must for Compacts, Weight Based Defense, Force Smash, Traditional Upper Attack, and Driger V2 builds.
Spin Gear Metal Weight Core 2.5 g Packs a small metal cylinder for added mass but weighs a touch less than a Magnecore, so it rarely stands out as the clear best choice for Attack builds — though the weight gap to its alternatives is small enough that it's rarely a bad one either.
Blade Base SG Flat Base 4.4 g The Spin-Gear-compatible version of Flat Base and the shortest Base in the Plastic generation, which suits Traditional Upper Attack in principle, but its tip's shape and material struggle to hold a flower pattern and offer only average stamina with limited recoil control; its LAD is at least serviceable.

Weights are single copies weighed on their own; a part can vary by a few tenths of a gram.
