Bearing Gyros

Takara brought this line to shelves in December 2000, building it on the Spin Gear System that defined the earliest tops. Each release carried a serial code starting with the letter A, and the boosters arrived already coloured to suit their intended role. Magical Stander, Magical Balancer and Magical Layer were among its earliest entries, each sold as a booster piece rather than a standalone starter.

What we checked

What is on record here is thin, so we went looking elsewhere rather than padding this page. These are the collections we searched for Bearing Gyros, and none of them had anything to add:

  • our toy database of every Beyblade and part
  • every episode of every series
  • the World Beyblade Organization's archived forums and Beywiki drafts
  • Takara Tomy's and beyblade.jp's own pages
  • Wikipedia in English and Japanese
  • beyblade.com
  • collectors' measurements of the parts
  • the tournament, testing, news and fake-check records already on this site
