Beyblade Evolution Cross Arms

Takara moved away from the main storyline entirely for this December 2004 line, giving its tops a self-contained setting called Spin World and character art credited to KENGOU. Rather than a manga or anime, the backstory played out through packaging text and illustration alone. Each Cross Arms top doubles as a small robot, and battles either send an opponent's head part flying in a Gyro Battle or race transformed 'gunner mode' tops against each other.
