About This Part

Spike 230, or SP230, is a Synchrome System Spin Track from Takara Tomy that debuted in Japan on December 1, 2012 with the BBG-27 Starter Gladiator Bahamdia SP230GF and reached western shelves as the SS-27 Starter Pack Gladiator Bahamoote SP230GF. It is the third track built at the 230 height, echoing Elevator 230 and Boost Disk 145 with a wide fixed disk carrying four downward-facing spikes meant for Attack.

In Play

The spikes offer little real striking power; the wide disk mostly earns its place as a brake against knockouts, keeping the Beyblade upright by giving it a second point of contact with the stadium floor.

  • Debuted in Japan on December 1, 2012 with the BBG-27 Starter Gladiator Bahamdia SP230GF.
  • Released in western countries as the SS-27 Starter Pack Gladiator Bahamoote SP230GF.
