About This Part

Extreme Flat, abbreviated XF, is a Performance Tip Takara Tomy debuted in Japan on April 1st, 2010 with Mercury Anubius 85XF, arriving in western countries in December 2011 through the BB-98 Ultimate Meteo L-Drago Assault 85XF Starter Pack. It is the second-widest Flat tip after Giga Flat, sharing Rubber Flat's diameter but replacing the rubber with four small plastic pads spaced around its edge, which trades grip and control for extra speed and Stamina.

In Play

The community rates it as a solid alternative to Rubber Flat for adding Stamina to Attack builds, particularly in left-spin customizations, though its width makes self-knockouts more likely and it struggles to hold a flower pattern compared with narrower tips like Metal Flat or Circle Flat.
