About This Part
Proof is a Frame Takara Tomy issued for the Burst System and the Cho-Z Layer System. It debuted in Japan on September 22, 2018 with the B-124 Long BeyLauncher L Set, then reached western markets through Hasbro's Pro Series Starter Pack carrying Perfect Phoenix 8'Proof Friction. Its circular build, close in shape to Spread, sits too low to touch an opponent's Layer, and that roundness gives Proof the strongest Life-After-Death among Frames in the metagame, ahead of both Cross and Glaive for Stamina.
In Play
Proof works in the Spin-Equalization combination Drain Fafnir, Spriggan Requiem or Hell Salamander with 0, 7 or 10 and Atomic, Bearing or Destroy, where it protects Life-After-Death and can carry an Out-Spin win if a Burst never lands, though pairing it with Bearing carries risk. The community rates Core Discs, Proof included, too light for the Standard format against newer Discs like Wheel and Over, but calls Proof a must-have in Burst Limited for Defense and Stamina builds.
