About This Part
Zephyr-Q is Hasbro's QuadDrive adaptation of the Zephyr tip, released for the Burst System's QuadDrive System. It debuted in western countries with the Magma Roktavor R7 and Gilded Balderov B7 Dual Pack. It keeps the hollow plastic flat-tip shape of the original Zephyr but adds two mounting points so an Armor Tip can be clipped on, switching it into a taller "Plus Mode" where the Armor Tip effectively takes over ground contact.
In Play
Its movement and speed track the standard Zephyr, giving better control than rubber tips but less raw pace; bladers generally treat it as an outclassed alternative kept mainly for the QuadDrive gimmick or for collecting.
- Debuted in western countries with the Magma Roktavor R7 and Gilded Balderov B7 Dual Pack.
- Shipped again in the Quantum Pulse 3-Pack, the Stone Linwyrm L7 set, the Gambit Dragon and Ambush Achilles dual pack, and the Fierce Achilles A8 release.
