About This Part
Zephyr' is a Dash Driver form of the Zephyr tip, made by Takara Tomy for the Burst System's Cho-Z Layer System. It first appeared in Japan on October 20th, 2018 inside the B-125 Random Booster Vol. 12 Dead Hades.11T.Z' set. Physically it is a hollow plastic flat tip of modest diameter, slightly wider than Accel, stamped with an embossed "Z" logo, and fitted with a stiffer spring lock that resists bursting better than the tip it replaces. It can push a combination out toward the Tornado Ridge at speeds close to Accel's.
In Play
Bladers favour Zephyr' in heavier balance builds where its plastic construction and reinforced lock make it easier to control than rubber tips at high spin speeds, though its hollow shell can dent from disc contact after a burst and its low friction leaves it exposed to self-knockouts.
