About This Part

Xtreme' is an Attack-type Driver from Takara Tomy, built for the Burst System and the Cho-Z Layer System, later released by Hasbro as part of the Pro Series. It debuted in Japan in August 2018 inside a CoroCoro-exclusive booster featuring Shadow Amaterios, then reached western shelves with Hasbro's Evo Elite Champions Pro Set. Like its predecessor Xtreme, it uses a flat rubber tip with a central dip at standard height, but a much thicker locking spring gives it stronger burst resistance, and its softer rubber makes it faster than the original at the cost of quicker wear. As a Dash Driver it also carries the stronger spring lock that all Dash Drivers share.

In Play

The community rates Xtreme' as the strongest choice for pure attack combinations, matching or beating comparable rubber-tipped Dash Drivers in speed and control, and competitive bladers tend to keep several copies on hand.
