About This Part
Xplosion is an Attack-type Driver from Takara Tomy, built for the Burst System, the Dynamite Battle Layer System and the Burst Ultimate Layer Series. It first appeared in Japan inside the B-203 Ultimate Fusion DX Set on October 8th, 2022. The tip pairs a rubber six-pointed star, similar to Jolt, with a free-spinning plate set at a standard height, similar to Destroy, so the piece behaves like a merger of the two. Its high friction produces aggressive, controllable movement when launched with a banking shoot, and the free-spinning plate adds a low second contact point that steadies the combination without costing much stamina.
In Play
The rubber tip keeps stamina low, but the free-spinning plate's life-after-death potential can let a combination out-spin its opponent even after an early stamina loss.
