About This Part
Ultimate Reboot is the dash-driver continuation of the automatic tip-swap driver, carried by Takara Tomy into the Gatinko Layer System with the same round plastic tip resembling a shrunken Accel' and rubber tip resembling a rubber Zephyr'. It keeps the same early-match plastic-tip phase that struggles to reach the Tornado Ridge and risks destabilizing, and the same late-match swap to a wider rubber tip meant to boost attack power just when stamina matters most; as a dash driver it adds a stiffer spring lock for greater burst resistance. It debuted in Japan on October 19th, 2019 with the B-153 Gatinko Customize Set, and reached the west through Hasbro's Pro Series Starter Pack pairing it with Prime Apocalypse.
In Play
The community rates this version as an improvement over Reboot' for attack while still outclassed overall by Xtreme', and like its predecessor it loses the Tornado-Stalling niche that Reboot' carried, leaving it mainly a collection piece.
