About This Part

Sword is the dash-driver revival of the wide, metal six-pointed star tip, reissued by Takara Tomy for the Dynamite Battle Layer System and the Burst Ultimate Layer Series. It keeps the same aggressive, Assault-level speed from its broad metal surface, the same difficulty holding a banking line, the same weak stamina, and the same pair of sword-like side protrusions meant to pair with Xcalibur-line layers, which still fail to make contact and instead risk scraping. As a dash driver it adds a stiffer spring lock for greater burst resistance. It debuted in Japan on July 16th, 2022 with the B-200 starter Xiphoid Xcalibur Xanthus Sword'-1.
