About This Part
Shot-Q is Hasbro's QuadDrive rendition of the Shot driver, carrying over Shot's default sharp-tipped mode but without the gimmick that made the original a disc-integrated part; here it behaves as a fixed stamina tip. Its narrow point makes it easy to tip over, leaving it a weak fit for stamina or defense builds on its own. Like other QuadDrive drivers, it carries two mounting points so an Armor Tip can be attached, switching it into "Plus Mode," where the Armor Tip effectively takes over and the assembly's height matches a SpeedStorm driver. It debuted in western countries inside the QuadDrive Starter Pack alongside Salvage Valtryek V7.
In Play
Its burst resistance is high enough, on par with Assault-Q, that the community favours Shot-Q chiefly as a base for mounting Armor Tips rather than using its default sharp point.
