About This Part

Reboot' is a variant Driver that Takara Tomy produced for the Burst System, tied to the Cho-Z Layer System. It launched in Japan on March 30th, 2019 inside the B-00 wbba. Store Exclusive Booster, Cho-Z Valkyrie 1'Reach Reboot'. Like the original Reboot, it is a flat plastic tip that swaps between a small round nub and a wider star-shaped tip as spin speed drops, and it carries the strengthened spring lock common to Dash Drivers, giving it better resistance to bursting.

In Play

Its tip swap still under-delivers on offence: the narrow round contact struggles for reach and can leave a combination unstable, while the wider tip typically arrives too late in a match to land a meaningful hit and instead saps stamina. It keeps a small niche in Tornado Staller builds by holding a bey away from centre longer, but Accel and Zephyr match or beat it for attack and stamina play, and the sticking problem seen in earlier stock of this tip line pushes it toward a collection piece rather than a battler.
