About This Part

Quattro' is Takara Tomy's Dash-driver variant of Quattro, released for the Burst System, the Dynamite Battle Layer System and the Burst Ultimate Layer Series, debuting in Japan inside the Zest Achilles Customize Set on August 6th, 2022. Its stronger spring corrects the original Quattro's weak burst resistance while keeping the same four-mode tip: an Attack mode with a small rubber tip like Xtreme', a Defense mode with a small free-spinning metal ball like Orbit Metal, a Stamina mode with a metal point like Wedge', and a Balance mode with a rubber tip around a central plastic point like Unite'. Like the original, the mechanism sits taller than an average driver.

In Play

The community rates the Defense and Stamina modes strong against same-spin opponents and comparable to other competitive stamina drivers, though the Attack and Balance modes remain knock-out prone from the added height, and performance drops against opposite-spin opponents; it is considered a worthwhile addition rather than an essential one.
