About This Part
Hasbro built Orbit-Q as its QuadDrive counterpart to Orbit for the Burst System, debuting in western markets inside the Destruction Belfyre B7 and Decay Perseus P7 dual pack. It keeps Orbit's plastic ball tip but drops the free rotation and the three-tab ring, and its shape is reworked with two mounting points so an Armor Tip can be attached; doing so switches the driver into "Plus Mode", where the Armor Tip effectively takes over and the assembly sits at a height similar to a SpeedStorm driver. Its burst resistance is on par with Assault-Q.
In Play
The removal of Orbit's gimmick leaves Orbit-Q outclassed for direct competitive use on its own, but its high burst resistance makes it a favoured base for mounting an Armor Tip.
