About This Part
Orbit Metal is a driver Takara Tomy released for the Burst System and the Gatinko Layer System, debuting in Japan inside the B-149 GT Triple Booster Set on August 10th, 2019. It is a defence-type variant of the original Orbit, swapping the free-rotating plastic ball for a metal one that runs with noticeably less friction against the stadium floor. That lower friction and reduced traction actually work against the driver's own defensive purpose, cutting into the knock-out resistance a defence tip is meant to provide.
