About This Part
Needle-Q is Hasbro's QuadDrive counterpart to Needle, keeping the small bumps meant to raise stadium friction but flattening the tip rather than leaving it as a ball, matching its SpeedStorm counterpart. It debuted in western markets with the Destruction Ifritor I7 and Stone Nemesis N7 Dual Pack. It also gained a modified base with two mounting points so an Armor Tip can be clipped on for "Plus Mode".
In Play
The flattened tip is meant to add speed but instead makes an already outclassed driver perform worse, since other flat tips serve attack roles better while Needle-Q still falls short on stamina, knock-out resistance and burst resistance from its weak spring; the community keeps it as a collection piece only.
