About This Part
Moment is a defensive driver built around a ball tip ringed by a free-spinning dish, in the mould of Guard but with a dish that can also tilt. Takara Tomy released it in Japan on June 26th, 2021 inside the B-186 Random Booster Vol. 26. The tilting dish is meant to right itself after a hit to guard against knock-outs, and later B-194 and B-198 production runs use dishes that spin more freely than the original B-186 release.
In Play
When it stays balanced, Moment can hold its own against top-tier drivers such as High Xtend+', but once knocked off-centre and unable to recover it destabilizes outright, so the community favours the freer-spinning B-194 and B-198 dishes over the original run.
- Debuted in Japan on June 26th, 2021 with the B-186 Random Booster Vol. 26.
- B-194 and B-198 releases use a freer-spinning dish than the original B-186 run.
