About This Part
Metal Drift is a Takara Tomy driver combining the Drift driver's shape with a Metal Lock cap and reinforced spring. It launched in Japan on October 2nd, 2021 inside the B-190 Beyblade Dynamite Battle All-in-One Set. The part is a wide, octagonal driver with a low, free-spinning conical tip, and its shorter metal-lock tabs trade some burst resistance for the added weight the lock provides.
In Play
Its sharp tip keeps friction low for strong stamina and burst defence, and the round shape gives it strong life-after-death, making it a favourite for stamina and defence builds, particularly against opposite-spin rivals, though bladers often pair it with cores like Bahamut or Kerbeus to offset the burst-resistance trade-off.
- Debuted in Japan on October 2nd, 2021 with the B-190 Beyblade Dynamite Battle All-in-One Set.
