About This Part
Kick is a Stamina-type Driver that Takara Tomy released for the Burst System and the Dynamite Battle Layer System. It carries a shallow, cone-shaped tip inside a cylinder ringed by an outer collar, closely mirroring the profile of Survive. The collar is meant to right itself on impact using internal springs, though in practice the effect is slight, and the tip tends to scrape at low spin speeds, cutting into Stamina. Kick trails well behind other Stamina Drivers such as High Xtend+' against both same and opposite spin rivals.
In Play
The community considers Kick outclassed by stronger Stamina options and treats it as a collection piece rather than a tournament pick.
- Released by Takara Tomy in Japan with the B-185 Booster, Vanish Fafnir Tapered Kick-3, on May 29th, 2021.
