About This Part
Jolt-S is a Driver Hasbro released for the Burst System and the SlingShock System, debuting in western markets with the SlingShock Starter Pack, Brutal Lúinor L4 10 Jolt-S. It is Hasbro's SlingShock counterpart to Jolt, using a flat rubber tip that trades Jolt's six spikes for a wider, more rounded shape, with the spike pattern only engraved on the surface for looks. As part of the SlingShock System, it switches manually between a standard-height "Battle Ring Mode" and an extended "SlingShock Mode" for high-scrape matchups.
In Play
In Battle Ring Mode its wide rubber surface creates strong aggression and can outpace drivers such as Xtreme when launched at an angle, and its high friction helps it hold a banking pattern, making it a solid choice for attack combinations, though the trade-off is reduced control at that top speed.
- Released in western markets with the SlingShock Starter Pack, Brutal Lúinor L4 10 Jolt-S.
