About This Part
Impact is a Driver Takara Tomy released for the Burst System and the Dual Layer System, debuting in Japan on July 2nd, 2016 with the B-48 Xeno Xcalibur Magnum Impact starter, later reaching western markets through Hasbro's Xeno Xcalius X2 Magnum Impact. It is built as a three-point star-shaped rubber tip with plastic filling the gaps between the points, so rubber and plastic alternate contact with the stadium floor as the part spins.
In Play
That mixed surface makes the movement inconsistent, alternately speeding up on rubber and slowing on plastic, so the community does not recommend it for attack, defense or stamina combinations and treats it as a collection piece only.
- Released in Japan on July 2nd, 2016 with the B-48 Xeno Xcalibur Magnum Impact starter.
- Released in western markets by Hasbro with the Xeno Xcalius X2 Magnum Impact starter pack.
