About This Part
Hunter-S is a Driver Hasbro released for the Burst System and the SlingShock System, debuting in western markets with the Guardian Kerbeus K4 and Blizzard-X Giga Gaianon G4 Dual Pack. It is Hasbro's SlingShock counterpart to Hunter, sharing a rubber flat tip whose center holds a circular depression, but wider and made of harder rubber than the standard release. Like other SlingShock drivers, it can be twisted downward into an extended "SlingShock Mode" for combinations that risk scraping the stadium floor, alongside its standard-height "Battle Ring Mode".
In Play
The wider tip trades some control for extra speed, and while the part carries strong attack potential, it is limited to Hasbro layers, which the community judges too light for the Burst format proper; it fares better as a recommended choice in the Burst GT, Burst Limited and Burst Classic formats.
