About This Part
High Zephyr is a Driver Takara Tomy released for the Burst System and the Superking Layer System, debuting in Japan on December 26th, 2020 inside the B-176 Random Booster Vol. 23. It stretches the standard Zephyr into a taller shape while keeping a small-diameter, hollow plastic flat tip stamped with a stylized "Z" for identification. The tip's surface area produces an aggressive movement pattern that stays fairly manageable when launched at an angle, and its speed sits close to Accel, including the ability to stall on the Tornado Ridge.
In Play
Its plastic build suits both mobile stamina play and attack/stamina balance setups, though the same construction can slip its banking pattern in unbalanced attack builds, invites self-knockouts from low friction, and can dent if struck by a disc after a burst.
- Released in Japan on December 26th, 2020 with the B-176 Random Booster Vol. 23.
