About This Part
High Massive is a Driver Takara Tomy released for the Burst System and the Dynamite Battle Layer System, debuting in Japan on April 24th, 2021 through the B-00 DB Driver Get Campaign. It is a taller variant of Massive, sharing Defense's ball-tip layout at standard height but with a wider ball, three tabs instead of four, and no protective ring. The larger ball was meant to add defence through greater surface contact, but in practice it trails Defense in nearly every respect: the wider tip rarely triggers the tab-braking that resists knockouts, its early movement is aggressive enough to push a beyblade toward the Tornado Ridge, and the extra surface friction actually lowers its stamina compared to Defense, even though it avoids the scrape risk that Defense's ring carries.
In Play
Community testing places High Massive behind Defense in knockout resistance and stamina alike, making it easy to knock out despite its bulkier tip.
