About This Part
High Defense is a Driver Takara Tomy released for the Burst System and the Superking Layer System, debuting in Japan on December 26th, 2020 in the B-176 Random Booster Vol. 23. It is a taller variant of Defense, keeping the same ball tip with four tabs and a ring set halfway down the shaft, standing at standard driver height. The tabs are meant to knock the beyblade back upright and act as brakes against knockouts by hitting the stadium floor at a stamina cost, but the ring sits too low for an opponent to ever strike it, leaving its smooth rim useful only for a bit of life-after-death potential.
