About This Part

Evolution' is a driver Takara Tomy released for the Burst System's Superking Layer line, debuting in Japan in the B-163 Booster, Brave Valkyrie Evolution' 2A, on April 25th, 2020, and in western countries in Hasbro's Pro Series Starter Pack, Brave Valtryek Evolution' 2A. Like the original Evolution, it carries a tall rubber tip made of two nested rings of spikes that wear away in stages, growing faster and less controllable as the outer six spikes give way to the inner fourteen and finally to a bare rubber base. As one of the Dash Drivers, it also has a stiffer spring lock than the base Evolution, giving it extra burst resistance.

In Play

The community rates Evolution' as an essential pick for competitive play, an improvement over its own predecessor, Variable', despite carrying the same underlying control and stamina trade-offs as the original Evolution.
