About This Part
Hasbro released Edge-Q as a Driver spanning both the Burst System and the QuadDrive System, debuting it in western countries inside the QuadDrive Starter Pack, Roar Balkesh B7 Giga-Q Edge-Q+Moment-10, as its QuadDrive counterpart to Edge. It keeps the four descending edges and sharp point of the original, and inherits the same tendency to tip over on its axis, but its shape is reworked with two mounting points that let an Armor Tip attach to it. With an Armor Tip fitted, the combination shifts into 'Plus Mode', where Edge-Q is effectively overridden and the resulting height resembles a SpeedStorm driver.
In Play
On its own, the community finds Edge-Q too unbalanced for competitive play, but rates it as a solid base for Armor Tips thanks to burst resistance comparable to Assault-Q, making it a worthwhile pickup rather than an essential one.
- Debuted in western countries in the QuadDrive Starter Pack, Roar Balkesh B7 Giga-Q Edge-Q+Moment-10.
