About This Part

Destroy' is the Dash Driver version of Destroy, released by Takara Tomy for the Cho-Z Layer System, debuting in Japan on October 20th, 2018 inside the B-125 Random Booster Vol. 12 Dead Hades.11T.Z', and later brought west inside Hasbro's Elite Champions Pro Set. It keeps Destroy's eight-pointed star tip and low-set free-spinning plate, which rights the part when it tips over without jamming the way similar gimmicks on Cycle and Guard do, and adds the stiffer spring lock common to Dash Drivers for greater burst resistance.

In Play

Between its stamina, life-after-death and attack potential, layered on top of that stronger burst resistance, the community treats Destroy' as a genuine staple for top-tier balance combinations.

  • Released in Japan on October 20th, 2018 inside the B-125 Random Booster Vol. 12 Dead Hades.11T.Z'.
  • Released in western countries inside Hasbro's Elite Champions Pro Set.
  • A mold variation exists: the copy Hasbro shipped in the Elite Champions Pro Set uses a regular spring rather than the Dash Driver's stiffer one, making it functionally a standard Destroy despite the Destroy' branding.
  • The Blue Ver. recolor came from a GT Point Get Battle Campaign in Japan, earned by competing in sanctioned G4 tournaments or battling motorized Beys in stadiums using the Mugen or Mugen-L Disc-Integrated Drivers and redeeming the points collected.
