About This Part
Charge Metal is a wide, round Driver Takara Tomy released for the Superking Layer System, debuting in Japan on August 8th, 2020 inside the B-171 Superking Triple Booster Set. It reworks the original Charge with a hollow metal tip in place of plastic, and the lower friction of that metal surface combined with the hollow build gives it noticeably more stamina than its predecessor.
In Play
The added metal still cannot push the tip fast enough to hit hard, so while it out-lasts the original Charge, it does not solve the part's underlying lack of striking speed.
