About This Part
Bearing Drift is a Driver Takara Tomy released for the Dynamite Battle Layer System and Burst Ultimate Layer Series, debuting in Japan on October 8th, 2022 with the B-203 Ultimate Fusion DX Set. Its body is wide and octagonal, built around a shallow, free-spinning conical point that upgrades the earlier Drift Driver with the addition of ball bearings; the tip's centre protrudes further than its predecessors, adding roughly 1.5mm to its overall height.
In Play
The tip's low friction gives Bearing Drift strong Stamina and Burst defence, the added ball bearings push its free spin and Stamina even further, and its round shape and wide tip diameter give it high Life-After-Death, especially against opposite-spin opponents; the community rates it a must-have for competitive play in Defense and Stamina builds despite the same weak Knock-Out resistance the ball bearings introduce.
