About This Part
Assault, styled as "αssault," is a Driver Takara Tomy released for the Gatinko Layer System, debuting in Japan on November 30th, 2019 with the wbba. Store Exclusive Booster Zwei Bahamut Outer Assault' Zan. Like the original Assault, it is a wide flat-based tip marked with the Greek letter alpha, but this Dash Driver version adds a stronger spring lock for greater Burst resistance.
In Play
Its wide tip makes Assault' noticeably faster than earlier flat Drivers, favouring Attack combinations at the cost of control and Stamina, and the community still considers it outclassed for Attack purposes by the faster, more controllable Xtreme, leaving it a piece for collectors.
