About This Part
Anchor, styled as "αnchor," is a Driver Takara Tomy and Hasbro both released for the Cho-Z Layer System and SwitchStrike System, debuting in Japan on September 21st, 2018 through a Rare Bey Get Battle booster built around Shining Amaterios Aero'Angle Anchor, and reaching western shelves with the SwitchStrike Starter Pack of the same combination. It is a plastic flat tip wrapped in a rubber ring, aimed at the same aggressive tilt-driven contact idea as Accel.
In Play
The specific angle the rubber ring needs to touch the stadium floor makes Anchor's added aggression inconsistent and difficult to control in practice.
