About This Part

11 is a Takara Tomy Disc that debuted in Japan on March 17th, 2018 inside the B-105 Starter, Z Achilles 11 Xtend, and reached the west through Hasbro's Rail Rush Battle Set. Unlike most odd-numbered Core Discs it is symmetrical and elliptical, with one large protrusion per side forming an "11", and one side carries a shallow "1"-shaped indent that is too slight to have any real effect. It ranks among the lightest Core Discs made, even lighter than most non-Core Discs, and that light weight undercuts its attack, defence and stamina output; while a lighter Disc would normally resist bursting better, the heavier Layers of the SwitchStrike, God Layer and Cho-Z Layer Systems make that advantage moot.

In Play

The community rates 11 behind every other Core Disc in every category because of its light weight, recommending it for collecting rather than competitive play.

  • Released in Japan on March 17th, 2018 in the B-105 Starter, Z Achilles 11 Xtend.
  • Released in western countries by Hasbro as part of the Rail Rush Battle Set.

The Competitive View

Its very light weight severely limits Attack, Defense, and Stamina potential, and while lightweight Discs traditionally aid Burst resistance, the heavy Switch-Strike/God and Chou-Z Layer Systems are considered to have made that trade-off obsolete.

Verdict as the draft gives it: 11 is outclassed for competitive use by all other Core Discs, recommended for collection purposes only.

  • Symmetrical, elliptical shape (atypical for an odd-numbered Disc)
  • One large protrusion per side forming '11'; one side has a shallow '1'-shaped indent
  • Lighter than most non-Core Discs
