Community testing, Dec. 17, 2010 — summarised

The competitive view

Covers BB-P01 Vulcan Horuseus 145D, a limited-edition Beyblade bundled with the PSP game Metal Fight Beyblade Portable Chouzetsu Tensei, built around the Horus-themed Vulcan Metal Wheel, whose four major contact points give it heavy Smash Attack potential.

Vulcan's slopes suggest Upper Attack but actually deliver Smash Attack through its four main contact points; 145 offers strong stamina wobble at height but is vulnerable to low attackers, and D reduces recoil at the cost of some stamina from added friction.

Verdict as the draft gives it: Vulcan paired with the 85 Track (MF Vulcan Horuseus 85R²F) is called a top-tier low-height Smash Attacker; 145 is cited in MF Pegasis 145RF and Burn Bull 145SD, with the article recommending every blader own at least one Vulcan Horuseus for its Metal Wheel.

  • Face: Horuseus - 1.11 grams
  • Clear Wheel: Horuseus - 2.92 grams, semi-reflective gold
  • Metal Wheel: Vulcan - 32.38 grams, two semi-circular prominences plus two smaller wings
  • Track: 145 - 1.53 grams
  • Bottom: Defense (D) - 0.68 grams
