Description

The blade of BEGA's pop-idol blader, who transforms from a squeaky teen performer into a taller, colder adult persona when she battles. Venus is deceptively graceful, and Ming-Ming's showmanship hides a blader who reads opponents well; her band's exhibition against Tyson, Max and Daichi is BEGA's opening advertisement. In the first Justice 5 match Venus beats Daichi's Strata Dragoon MS, giving BEGA the early lead in the series.

Venus is a Stamina Type Beyblade built on the Magnacore System and is Ming-Ming's first Beyblade in Beyblade: G-Revolution's BEGA League. Takara released it in Japan through Random Booster 12 on October 2, 2003, with Hasbro following up internationally in 2004 under the name Venusian G. Its Attack Ring, Mirage Goddess, depicts the winged cat Venus on all four sides in a majestic motif of swirls and half-spheres, paired with the heavy Ten Heavy weight disk, the SG Sharp blade base, and a NEO Right Spin Gear.

Parts in detail

One of three Random Booster 12 prize Beyblades (with Apollon and Poseidon), issued in yellow, blue, and mauve, with mauve as this release's prize colorway.

SlotPartWeightSpinNote
Attack Ring Mirage Goddess 7.8 g Right and Left A wide, heavy, thick ring that's unusually well-rounded: a top Right-Spin Smash Attack ring and, in Left Spin, a genuinely competitive Weight-Based Defense and Spin-Stealing Attack ring at the same time. In Right Spin its thick, slightly inward-angled points hit hard given the ring's bulk, especially with a Heavy Metal Core for recoil control; in Left Spin the same heavy, low-recoil bulk suits Weight-Based Defense, and its size lets it push opponents around effectively enough for spin-stealing too.
Weight Disk Random (Star Attack, Revolver Attack, Ten Heavy, Ten Balance, or Ten Wide) — Random Booster packaging means the disk that ships with any individual copy varies.
Spin Gear Neo Right Spin Gear Shells (Metal Weight Version) 1.15 each / 2.3 total g Right The standard Neo-style right-spin shell housing, preferred for compatibility with all SG-compatible bases and Neo cores, including the Heavy Metal Core.
Spin Gear Metal Weight Core 2.5 g A Neo-only core adding a small internal metal weight; slightly lighter than a Magnecore, so it rarely stands out but is a safe pick for most attack builds.
Blade Base SG Sharp Base 6.6 g A tall, sharp-tipped spin-gear base whose height and material make it unstable and short-lived against most opponents.

Weights are single copies weighed on their own; a part can vary by a few tenths of a gram.
