Description

The blade of BEGA's martial-arts blader, the son of a family of champions who treats Beyblade as one more discipline to be perfected. Apollon's Radiant Thunder is delivered with a martial artist's precision, and Garland's two-on-one demolition of Bryan and Spencer, followed by the beating that hospitalises Tala, establishes BEGA as a genuine threat. In the fifth Justice 5 match Tyson finally defeats it, and Garland's sportsmanship in defeat marks him as the most honourable of Boris's recruits.

Apollon is an Attack Type Beyblade released by Takara in the Magnacore System, belonging to the character Garland Siebald from Beyblade: G-Revolution. It combines an Apollon bit chip with a Corona Saber attack ring, a Star Attack weight disk, a metal-weighted Neo Right Spin Gear and an SG Flat Base, and was distributed with a random assortment of weight disks in one booster line.

Parts in detail

One of three prize Beyblades bundled with Random Booster 12 alongside Venus and Poseidon; the three shared a design but were issued in different prize colors (yellow, blue, mauve), with yellow being Apollon's own assigned color.

SlotPartWeightSpinNote
Attack Ring Corona Saber 7.4 g Right and Left A large, square-winged ring whose exposed wingtips deliver strong Smash Attack in Right Spin along with solid Upper Attack in both directions, though the heavy rotational recoil going Right limits it to grip-base setups against lighter opponents.
Weight Disk Random pull (Star Attack, Revolver Attack, Ten Heavy, Ten Balance, or Ten Wide) — Apollon shipped with one of five possible weight disks chosen at random, so a given copy's defensive character depends entirely on which disk it includes.
Spin Gear Neo Right Spin Gear (Metal Weight Version) shells 1.15 each (2.3 total); Metal Weight Core 2.5 g Right Neo shells are preferred over standard shells for their compatibility with Neo cores and the Heavy Metal Core; the Metal Weight Core itself runs slightly lighter than a Magnecore, so it rarely stands out but performs acceptably in Attack builds.
Blade Base SG Flat Base 4.4 g Right (built-in) The shortest base in the plastics line, which helps for Traditional Upper Attack, but its tip shape and material struggle to hold a flower pattern and give only average stamina and recoil control.

Weights are single copies weighed on their own; a part can vary by a few tenths of a gram.

In play and in the story

  • Released in the Random Booster 12 set, where the yellow-colored version was the prize Beyblade.
  • Random Booster 12 shipped it with a randomly assigned weight disk: Star Attack, Revolver Attack, Ten Heavy, Ten Balance or Ten Wide, though the anime depicts it fixed with Star Attack.
