Description
Revive Phoenix 10 Friction carries Takara Tomy's fire-bird imagery into a Defense Type build for the Cho-Z Layer System, sold as a Starter in Japan from July 7, 2018 for 1782 yen. Tapping into darker power turns the avatar's wings and body purple and shifts the physical top into its Black Wing Ver.; three further recolours — Gold, Blue and Silver Wing — also exist, with the Silver Wing predating the standard release. The toyline moves it forward into Dead Phoenix 0 Atomic, and the anime into Dead Phoenix 10 Friction.

The competitive view
Revive Phoenix is a Defense Type Energy Layer with a central bird motif and four metal-tipped feathered wing blades, featuring a two-stage 'double burst' gimmick: a weaker-toothed outer perimeter that disconnects under damage to expose a smoother, lower-recoil core underneath.
The detachable perimeter parries early hits like Tornado Wyvern's free-spinning layer, and once it disconnects the exposed core has less recoil, though the discarded ring piece left in the stadium can interfere with either blader's tip and banking pattern; like other Super-Z layers it is unbalanced, raising burst risk and draining stamina unless offset with a Level Chip.
