Parts in detail
One of three Random Booster 11 prize Beyblades (with Orca Diver and Crab Diver), each released in orange, white and blue, with white as this Beyblade's prize colourway; Hasbro later gave it a standard G-Revolution release paired with Ten Wide and SG Semi-Flat Base.
| Slot | Part | Weight | Spin | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Attack Ring | Square Edge | 6.1 g | Both (symmetrical) | A large, symmetrical ring with multiple jagged contact points producing some of the most powerful smash attack of the whole generation, with excellent reach that makes it arguably the best offensive answer to Circle Survivor Defense; its sloped edges also give it strong upper attack, and it stays remarkably consistent even as the spikes wear down. |
| Weight Disk | Random (Takara) / Ten Wide (Hasbro) | 14.0 (Takara/Hasbro) / 14.3 (SonoKong G-Blade) g | The Takara Random Booster release ships with any of Star Attack, Revolver Attack, Ten Heavy, Ten Balance or Ten Wide, while the standard Hasbro release always includes Ten Wide — a moderately light, outward-weighted disk that's strong for smash attack, especially with rings that wider disks like Wide Defense would otherwise obstruct, but outclassed for spin-stealing and survival by heavier or more edge-focused disks. | |
| Spin Gear | Neo Right Spin Gear Shells + Metal Weight Core | 2.3 (shells) + 2.5 (core) g | Right | Neo shells give the broadest core compatibility of any right-spin shell, and the Metal Weight Core is a solid general-purpose attack core, usually just a touch behind a Magnecore. |
| Blade Base | SG Sharp Base (Takara) / SG Semi-Flat Base (Hasbro) | 6.6 (SG Sharp Base) / 4.7 (SG Semi-Flat Base) g | The Takara Random Booster base (SG Sharp Base) is a tall, poorly stable sharp-tipped base generally outclassed by alternatives such as Customize Metal Sharp Base, while the guaranteed Hasbro base (SG Semi-Flat Base) is a predictable, easy semi-flat tip that wears fairly fast but is workable in compact customizations. |
Weights are single copies weighed on their own; a part can vary by a few tenths of a gram.

Community testing, Oct. 09, 2011 — summarised
The competitive view
Manta Diver consists of the Square Edge attack ring, the Neo Right spin gear, and the SG Sharp Base, and has a 1-in-12 chance as a Random Booster 11 prize. A one-hit-knockout combination is reported to produce more recoil than a smash-attack combination, so smash attack is favored. Manta Diver's large size is considered a strength for weight-based defense, since it should make mid-air collision launches easier to land.
