Description

Gekiryu-ou is a Balance-Type top built from a Wing Cross Attack Ring, a Wide Weight Disk and a Semi-Flat blade base sitting under the Gekiryu-Oh bit chip, part of the four-layer construction used in the Next Generation Beigoma Battle: Beyblade line. Takara Tomy moulded it in translucent blue, and Hasbro's own run started in the same translucent blue before later copies were recoloured in an opaque blue.

Parts in detail

SlotPartWeightSpinNote
Attack Ring Wing Cross 3.1 (Mold 1) / 3.3 (Mold 2) g Right only The same small, light, well-balanced ring shared with Frostic Dranzer: excellent solo-spin stamina held back by recoil unless shielded by Wide Defense/Survivor, and by fragility in its first mold.
Weight Disk Wide 12.7 g Light with an average width and a more centered weight distribution than its successors; its shape invites recoil despite the light weight, leaving it heavily outclassed with essentially no competitive role today.
Blade Base Semi-Flat Base 7.2 g The same base shared with Frostic Dranzer and Bistool: lightweight with a stable tip and decent Life-After-Death, commonly paired with Ten Balance for stamina builds that can beat typical tournament filler but lose to top-tier competitive combinations.

Weights are single copies weighed on their own; a part can vary by a few tenths of a gram.
