Description
Drain Fafnir takes its name and dragon-headed avatar from the Norse legend of Fafnir, the dwarf prince cursed by Andvari's gold into monstrous form, and this Stamina Type version pairs the Drain Fafnir Layer with an 8 Disc and a Nothing Driver, notably going without a disc frame, unusual for a God Layer System top. Takara Tomy sold it as a starter in Japan on April 29th, 2017, for 1404円, with further colour releases including Crystal Blue, Crimson White and a CoroCoro-exclusive Evil Dragon version limited to 100 winners; in the toyline it is succeeded by Geist Fafnir 8' Absorb, and in the anime by Geist Fafnir 8'Proof Absorb.
