It's revealed Cobalt Dragoon's extra lap cracked Buster Dran, a move Khrome dubs "Dragonic Break," born from obsessively training to surpass Jaxon since their old farewell battle. Jaxon switches to a soon-damaged Dagger Dran, then finally recreates Khrome's technique as "Dragonic Break X" to win, leaving an exhausted Khrome to collapse as Robin prepares to face Ciel.
