Biography

Khrome Ryugu leads championship team Pendragon and stands as the first season's main antagonist, his calm respect curdling into obsession after his former teammate Jaxon Cross leaves to reclimb the X and challenge him at the top. Adopting the masked 'Blader Y' identity to study Jaxon up close, Khrome's fixation deepens into open hatred once their rivalry peaks, and after a shattering loss at X Tower he abandons his old values entirely, accepting the rule-breaking Impact Drake and Meteoroid Dragoon from Omega Shiroboshi to hunt Jaxon down at any cost, continuing the pursuit as a Shadow Pro across later seasons.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Tall and blond, Khrome has bright green hair streaks, turquoise eyes and dragon-claw-shaped highlights. Two long locks hold a metal ornament shaped like a dragon — originally a pen-charm gifted to Jaxon Cross that ended up in Khrome's hair, was scattered during his title match against Jaxon, and was later replaced with a copy from Zodiac. He wears a turquoise changshan shirt, a black leather jacket with cuffed sleeves, light-blue-trimmed black fingerless gloves, a red belt, lime-green trousers over dark azure detailing, black-grey leggings and black sneakers with light blue soles. Gaining Impact Drake and MeteorDragoon turns his sclera black and his eyes pale grey with blue highlights. As the masked Blader Y, he wore a blue, gear-patterned lens mask marked with a lime-green "Y" and three claws, over a light blue hoodie, black turtleneck, blue jeans and black sneakers.

Calm and respectful once described Khrome, until a loss to Jaxon turned into fixation on him. That fixation deepened into obsession when Jaxon left to reclimb The X and challenge him for the title, and by the fight atop The X it had curdled into outright hatred. Gaining Impact Drake and MeteorDragoon pushes him further toward aggression.
