Biography

Robin Kazami leads Team Persona in Beyblade X after his original Bey, Strike Hawk, is destroyed by pro blader Takumi Ishiyama and his old teammates abandon him. Talented at cooking, sports and quick learning but stuck with a near-zero win tally, Robin's defining trait is refusal to quit: he studies rivals' techniques to copy their signature Xtreme Dashes, forms Persona with Jaxon Cross and Multi Nana-iro, and wins over crowds through sheer persistence even in near-constant defeat. That persistence pays off at the season's climax, where he loses the opening round to series antagonist Zero Cross before rallying to win the decisive rematch and bring down his scheme.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Standing at an average build, Robin has red eyes marked by a yellow crystal shape across the iris and messy brown hair, worn feather-styled and held back by a long yellow headband. His wardrobe runs to a red jacket with a silver zipper over a black tank top, a brown belt and black trousers, finished with black socks and red shoes laced in orange with brown soles.

Robin leads Team Persona with real drive, having relocated to Xenon City chasing a career as a professional Blader, and that ambition shapes how he carries himself as captain, even though his skill as a leader draws some debate among those around him. Working alongside a former champion and an influencer suggests he cooperates well and values shared goals over solo glory. Underneath the ambition he stays kind, fun-loving and quick to support his teammates; a long run of losses hasn't dented his resilience, and he keeps training and improving rather than giving up. He also cooks, sushi especially, and uses it to lift others' spirits.

Claims We Could Not Check

  • Manga volume one puts his Launch Power figure at 5000.
  • A Korean promotional site once pegged his age at 13; the number was pulled from the visible page but can still be dug out of its source code.
  • His character sheet lists him at 151cm tall.
  • He briefly goes by the alias Blader S (Kamen S in the Japanese version) during an anime storyline built around saving Packun.
  • He is presently the only character to fight with a String Launcher unique to the anime, a BX-18 modified with custom red prongs.
