What to know
- Western-exclusive anime adaptation of the BeyWarriors BeyRaiderz toyline, produced by Nelvana and Japan's d-rights under the project name 'BRProject'; succeeds Beywheelz and precedes Beywarriors: Cyborg.
- Functions as Beywheelz's built-in second 13-episode season, continuing characters like Sho Tenma and adding new ones like Jimmy Cruise.
- 13 episodes of 22 minutes each, confirmed via a June 11, 2013 Nelvana press release.
- Premiered in France (Gulli, preview Nov 1, 2013), Portugal (Panda Biggs, Nov 2, 2013), Italy (K2, Jan 7, 2014), Canada (YTV, Jan 4, 2014) and the US (Cartoon Network, previewed Jan 25, 2014 before a Feb 1, 2014 episodic debut).
- Follows Sho, Jin and Leon in a decaying parallel world once protected by six Mythic Beasts, who must be restored through Beyraiderz tournament battles.
- Reviewer TV Equals compared the show to Indiana Jones and Atlantis, calling it a 'less cheesy' animated take on the latter.
- The Italian dub uniquely retains the original Japanese opening and ending themes rather than Nelvana's English versions.
