Product · Beyblade Burst

Light Launcher (Burst)

The very first Beyblade Burst launcher, debuting with the initial four Starters (B-01 through B-04) and later adopted by Hasbro's Pro Series. Its right-spin ripcord mechanism supports three winder variants offering five, six, or seven rotations, and its color scheme, prong shape, and bundling pattern shifted repeatedly across the toyline's early years before being succeeded by newer launchers.

What to know

  • First-ever launcher of the Beyblade Burst system
  • Three usable winders: the standard (5 rotations), Long Winder (6), and Phoenix Winder (7, exclusive to B-117 Revive Phoenix)
  • Prong shape was revised starting with the B-22 Beyblade Custom Set Defense & Stamina for better Layer grip
  • Color scheme flipped from white-body/black-winder (2015-16) to black-body/white-winder (2016-17) across Takara Tomy's first two years
  • Standard Starters replaced it with the Entry Launcher from 2017-2018 onward, though it returned in select sets with anime-accurate coloring from Cho-Z onward
  • Adopted by Hasbro as the Pro Series Launcher for Starter Packs and the Elite/Evo Elite Champions Pro Sets
  • Later outclassed in rotation count by launchers like the Power Custom Sword Launcher LR and Full Custom BeyLauncher LR
