About This Part
Hasbro adapted Jade into a Hybrid Wheel System part, bringing it west in August 2012 with the B-138 Starter Pack Jade Jupiter 130B. Where the 4D System original splits into a Metal Frame and Core, this version is moulded as a single piece based on the Frame, with bumps cast into the metal to suggest the ball gimmick without adding real weight. The lighter build still leaves noticeable gaps at the old side extensions, letting it land respectable Smash Attack hits, though nowhere near what a wheel like Flash can manage.
In Play
Its reduced weight compared with the 4D System version makes it a middling Attack option, outclassed by dedicated Attack Fusion Wheels such as Flash.
- Released in western countries in August 2012 with the B-138 Starter Pack Jade Jupiter 130B.
