Fusion Wheel

A Fusion Wheel forms the outer ring of a Metal Saga Beyblade and does double duty: it adds most of the top's weight and it is the part that physically strikes an opponent's Beyblade in the stadium. The standard version, the Metal Wheel, is a solid metal ring included with most Hybrid Wheel System and 4D System releases, while 4D Metal Wheels split into several segments -- sometimes with a plastic "PC Frame" -- that can be reconfigured into different modes. A separate Light Wheel line, made of white plastic rather than metal, was sold only in limited "Random Booster Light" sets; it chips or cracks more readily against a metal opponent, which pushes collectors toward keeping it rather than battling with it. Weight and profile are what change between individual wheels, and both directly govern how hard and how consistently a Beyblade hits in a clash.
